FAQs

  • All of our artists manage their own booking. Please click the “Booking an Appointment” bar above on more information on how to book with each of us and to check out our work!

  • As of November 2021, we are now located at 58 Main St in downtown Bangor, ME

  • Because each artist operates on an appointment-only basis, we do not have set hours. However, we are typically open 9-4pm Monday-Friday.

  • Each artist has their own set hourly rate, so please check with your specific artist for questions about pricing and tattoo quotes. However, our shop minimum is $150

  • At this time, we do not do piercings (sorry).

  • Yes! But please consult with your artist independently to inquire about cover-up projects. Each of us have different levels of experience, and so cover-up tattoos will require an in-person consultation beforehand to discuss details before making an appointment.

  • Please bring a photo I.D to complete the consent paperwork, other than that - the rest is up to you! We do provide complimentary snacks and drinks, but feel free to bring your own or anything else that with help make your tattoo an enjoyable experience!

  • You are allowed to bring one guest to accompany you during your tattoo appointment, if you wish! However, we ask that you don’t bring any more than that.

  • Due to the nature of a tattoo studio, we do not allow any children beyond the front lobby area, or to be left unsupervised during your appointment. Because of this, we discourage bringing any guests under the age of 18 with you to your appointment.

  • Sorry, but no. Per the State of Maine regulations, we cannot tattoo anyone under the age of 18 (regardless of parental consent).

  • Of course! As long as you are able to provide a photo ID that states your birth date to confirm when you will turn 18, we would be happy to consult with you and make an appointment for on (or after) your 18th birthday. Please consult with your specific artist for more details and their preferences in this regard.

  • It is our studio policy to not tattoo anyone who is actively nursing, we recommend waiting to book until you are no longer doing so. We also do not tattoo anyone that is pregnant. If you are planning to become pregnant, we recommend waiting to book.

  • Most likely, yes. If you tend to have severe reactive flare ups from stress, your artist will have to sit down with you and discuss it further. But as long as you aren’t having an active flare up in the area being tattooed, and the skin in that area isn’t broken/irritated, you should be good. If you are unsure in any way as to whether or not getting a tattoo is a good idea with your condition, please consult your doctor first.

  • Something loose and comfortable is always a good choice! Depending on the area you’re getting tattooed, it may be best to dress in layers (bring a change of clothes)!
